For sale are four-piece place size place settings with a place salad forks in the FAIRFAX pattern by Gorham, introduced in 1910. The knives are 9 1/8 inches long with modern-style stainless steel blades, the place forks are 7 1/2 inches, the place salad forks are 6 5/8 inches and the teaspoons are 5 3/4 inches. The flat pieces weigh 121 grams. The flat pieces are all marked “GORHAM STERLING”, with [P] place size designations on the forks and “Fairfax” on the teaspoon. The knives are marked “TRADE / G / MARK” and “GORHAM / STERLING / HANDLE / [P]” on the blade. The pieces have not been monogrammed. Many of the pieces are still in their original plastic sleeves. Condition on the settings is excellent. They are either new in wrapper or have slight handling wear. Some great settings in a popular pattern.
