FUN set of stainless. Handles are a nice substantial plastic. Matte texture (not glossy), semi transparent, 4 sided and stainless dots to secure and look cool. Marked "Stainless Steel" No damage and no signs of use! The 16 pieces weigh 1 pound 14 ounces unpacked. 4 dinner forks, 4 tablespoons, 4 teaspoons and 4 knives. I am pet free smoke free home. I combine purchases (check out my other Pier 1 set with same color handles) Message questions. note: These cool utensils are not marked Pier 1 on each piece. Researching, there is a set new in their original retail package that states "FLATWARE SET COUTELLERIE" from Pier one.
